Internship Opportunities (Los Angeles Area)

Kollaboration is looking for interns to help in a variety of areas! We offer both 10 and 20 hour internship opportunities on a volunteer or college-credit basis.

Digital Marketing Intern

Kollaboration is seeking a Digital Marketing intern to help with our social media and online marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Kollaboration Global social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), scheduling daily posts as well as monitoring, listening, and engaging with users
  • Contribute and generate original ideas and strategies to build a robust online presence designed to increase the engagement of our online community.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement digital marketing efforts around Kollaboration events and programs including Kollaboration Star and Online Giving Campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Passion for the Asian American community and a desire to see Asian Americans better represented in the media
  • Proactive work ethic, able to take direction and complete tasks with minimal guidance
  • Organized and detail oriented, able to create and keep to schedules
  • Familiarity with managing social media accounts for groups and organizations
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Currently enrolled in college (or recent graduate)

Media Intern

Kollaboration is seeking a Media Intern to assist with the production of our new media projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the coordination and organization of Kollaboration’s media projects including digital video projects and podcasts.
  • Assist the Kollaboration Creative Team in setting up shoots, assisting with field work, and editing content.
  • Actively participate in pre-production meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for the Asian American community and a desire to see Asian Americans better represented in the media
  • Proactive work ethic, able to take direction and complete tasks with minimal guidance
  • Interest in new media production and familiar with project management concepts
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and Adobe/Creative Editing software
  • Organized and detail oriented, ability to work efficiently and independently
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Currently enrolled in college (or recent graduate)

Organizational Intern

Kollaboration is seeking an Organizational Intern to assist with the administration and management of Kollaboration’s non-profit operations .

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify grant and funding opportunities for the organization on both the national and local levels.
  • Assist with project management efforts and facilitate communication between the Kollaboration city and global teams.
  • Help develop and implement projects to improve the Kollaboration Organization.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for the Asian American community and a desire to see Asian Americans better represented in the media
  • Proactive work ethic, able to take direction and complete tasks with minimal guidance
  • Interest in non-profit management and familiar with project management concepts
  • Experience in Microsoft Office
  • Organized and detail oriented, ability to work efficiently and independently
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Currently enrolled in college (or recent graduate)
